Bauhaus was a fine art school operated in Germany from 1919-1933 and was founded by Walter Gropius. It was known for it's famous approach to design. It was formed with the idea of combining all different mediums of art such as art, architecture, graphs design, interior design, industrial design and typography. Most importantly, though, was the architecture. All of the other elements of craft could help form a building and all of it's characteristics. The school was another avant garde movement for this time period.
Another Avant garde movement happened during the 1960s and was known as the Fluxus movement. It's style was a mixture of ideals from other movements like Dada and Bauhaus. The artwork expressed art based on scientific, philosophical and sociological ideas.
