  1. Maureen! I absolutely love your project. I like how all of your projects have a flower theme, they're always so pretty.
With this particular project I like the colorful flowers against the black background. I like how you added real stems/vines making the flowers look realistic and abstract at the same time.
I wish could have pulled something off like this.
Yours was easily one of my favorites!
    Great job!!

  2. This was one of the "prettiest" projects out of the whole class. You did a great job twisting and turning the hands and feet into flower like shapes. The colors you used looked awesome against the black back round and really tie in well with each other.

  4. Great job with the flower concept. Everything matched rather well. The manipulation of the hands, feet, and ears (if I am not mistaken) have really added great effects to your flower representation. Great use of color to polymorph it into a flower and disguise its true nature of being a part of the human body.

Only suggestion I have is that I wish you could of used your face and eyes in the picture as well. I'm sure they could of been a cool additive part of the flower arrangement as well, perhaps similar to the Disney's cartoon, Alice and Wonderland. I was thinking of the flowers Alice encountered when she ate the mushroom and ventured into the flower bed. The rose leading a singing choir and all of the other flowers coming alive and showing facial/emotional appearances. Just an idea I had.

Anyhow, excellent job with the flower concept, use of images, and color. It was indeed a great piece of art.

    Great Job!

  5. I am totally obsessed with your project.
I thought it was super amazing. I loved your inspiration. It was so cool how you used your body parts like flowers. You were able to let your feet and hands look so similar. I also loved your use of color, I thought it was cute how you painted your fingernails. The overall project looks amazing and it makes me happy to look at.

  6. I loved your project. especially how delicate the flowers looked, and once you look closer you start to see hands and feet. I also enjoyed the colors you decided to use. I loved how the paint strokes harsh and completely opposite the delicateness of the flowers.

  7. maureen, i was pretty in love with your project. i thought that you brought a lot of your own persona to the xerox piece. it was very reflective of your delicate beautiful nature as a person. i loved that some parts were 2D and other flower elements were 3D. excellent job.

  8. Your projects are always so colorful and full of life. I love the fact that you colored the xeroxed parts instead of leaving them black and white, and the contrast of the flowers and black background makes them stand out even more. Your feet and hands make very pretty flowers!

  10. Looooove! I would definitely have this hanging on my wall. You were so creative! The colors really popped out at me so great choice of colors! The use of the hands and feet were perfect. I'm glad you kept them in black and white. it really contrasted against the color you used.

  11. I liked this one a lot. I like how you used the same scans to make various shapes and images on your canvas. The color added another element which was nice to see in typically black and white scans.
