Every time I try to post a video, it doesn't seem to work!
Anyhow- I wanted my video art project to reflect something that I learned from the class this semester. I can really say that taking this class really opened my eyes in regards to what art is or can be...
Everyone's projects blew me away!
Have a wonderful break!! See ya next semester :)
I liked that you read from the book and incorporated what you've learned and how you've grown because of this class into your video. The layers you used were really cool... especially when you flipped them upside down on top of each other. It gave a really cool effect. Using the natural sounds as your audio was a nice touch! Great job!
ReplyDeleteAs I said in class I thought you had some really good footage in your piece. I really like the beginning when you read from the book and the shot from bayshore over the water. That could be used in a number of things, it just looked so peaceful. Well done.
ReplyDeleteMaureen, I always love all of your projects. I thought it was beautiful how your scenes faded into one another. Your idea of art being everywhere was something I have definitely taken in from the class as well. I really feel like so many people can relate to your theme. Great job!
ReplyDeleteyou are just adorable. you make such beautiful things, and this was no exception. you certainly have an eye behind the camera. i liked the way you edited everything together and your voiceover in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteYour video speaks for everyone, there is art all around us but not many people notice it. I like that u were able to capture things we see on the regular but dont get a chance to take a deeper look at them. Great job.
ReplyDeleteVery good job on making a narration of gaining your experiences and ideas in class. Good job in making the camera capture everything with no static. You did a great job of footage and editing in effects within the scenes.
ReplyDeleteGood job, have a good holiday :)
I like how you composed your shots "off-center". For example: you show a bird starting at just the feet, some things break the frame or are angled, and some things are parts of another whole (siren on car). This worked in making your point that art is everywhere.
ReplyDeleteFantastic!
